Pregnancy Scan

Pregnancy scan is the process that includes  various types of scans or ultrasounds to monitor the health and development of the fetus. Here are some common types:

  • Dating Scan
  • Nuchal Translucency (NT) Scan
  • Anomaly Scan (or Level 2 Ultrasound)
  • Fetal Growth Scan
  • Doppler Ultrasound
  • 3D/4D Ultrasound

Pregnancy Scan Procedure

The pregnancy scan procedure starts by making the patient, consume some water to fill the bladder. Then they are made to lay down, exposing the abdomen. A gel is applied, and a transducer is moved over the area, emitting sound waves. Real-time images appear on a monitor, allowing assessment of the fetus’s development, position, and surrounding structures. Measurements such as crown-rump length are taken to estimate gestational age. The fetal heartbeat and movement are assessed. . Afterward, the gel is wiped off, and normal activities can be resumed. Scans are crucial for monitoring fetal health and guiding prenatal care.

We have the most advanced  technology improvements  with popular HDlive 4D technology. This provides a  life-like image in 4D obstetrics as it adds adjustable lightsource on the utero fetus, creating shadows and more depth to the image.
